We had such a great time together at Girl's Camp this year.  We will be having our final camp activity on July 15, 2015 at Mindy Williams house. We will be finishing our final craft, watching the skits and a slide show from camp.  It's going to be great fun!!

4 Days Until Camp!!

We can't believe it but camp is almost here! We are so excited!

Here are a few things you need to know about the camp schedule:

Pre-Camp Pack up: We will be having our pre-camp pack up on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m.  All girls will need to bring their camp bags to the church where we will pack everything up.

Camp Kickoff:  We will be meeting at the church at 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning.  The girls will be served breakfast and we will depart for Camp at 6:30 a.m. sharp!  Please do not be late as we are on a tight schedule.

We should be returning home from camp at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

Packing Lists, Rules and Dress Code

Camp is almost here!

Here is a packing list and a copy of the Camp Rules and Dress Code.

Also, remember to bring LOTS of bug spray. The mosquito content is very high this year and we don't want to be struggling with tons of mosquito bites.

Camp Fees

Our camp fees this year will be $50.00 per girl.  Please have your fees turned into Sister Rich no later than May 31.

Archery Activity

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Archery/Campfire activity.  We had a blast!!

We learned to shoot archery and build campfires. We have several young women who exhibited some fine archery skills!   At the end of the activity, we got to top it all off with yummy S'mores!

Archery and Camp Fire Activity

Come channel your inner Catniss Everdeen at our pre-camp archery night activity on Wednesday,  April 22. We will be meeting on the South side of the Stake Center and heading out to the archery site from there.

The girls will have a chance to test their archery skills and learn to build a campfire.

Of course, the night would not be complete without a treat, so we will be roasting marshmallows and making yummy S'mores.

Parent Packets.. RSVP Please

Attached are the parent letters and necessary forms to attend Girl's Camp this year.

Additionally, there is a "Getting to Know You" packet and and RSVP form for each girl. Please fill out the questionnaire and return it with your parent letter. This information will be shared with your Secret Sister so she can know a little more about you before camp.

Please also return you RSVP form to a leader no later than April 19.   Please return it even if you are NOT planning to attend camp.

YCL Meeting Schedule

Training and Planning Meetings for the YCLs will be held on the following dates at Sister Rich's house:

April 19     3:00 p.m.

May 10      3:00 p.m.

June 7        3:00 p.m.

These meetings are important as you will be heavily involved in planning and leading many of the girls camp activities this year.

Girl's Camp Info!

This year, Girl's Camp will be held June 29-July 1.

We will be staying at the Lodge at Deseret Land and Livestock.
